Remembering 9/11

Every September 11th, we read President George W. Bush's statement to the nation from that day in 2001.

This year, in the midst of a pandemic and fires raging on the west coast, this line from President Bush's address stands out: "And we responded with the best of America -- with the daring of our rescue workers, with the caring for strangers and neighbors who came to give blood and help in any way they could."

We will never forget the Americans lost that day. Nor will we forget the way Americans united afterwards to heal and to help each other out.

May God bless America.
