WATCHING | American Murder: Gabby Petito on Netflix: This 3-episode docuseries by Netflix covers the death of Gabby Petito, who was killed by her fiancé Brian Laundrie in 2021 while road-tripping across the U.S. According to a report last year by 2 U.N. agencies, 140 women and girls on average were killed by an intimate partner or family member per day in 2023.

LISTENING TO | "Women's Role in Shaping Future Elections, Part 2: Voter Perceptions & Political Realities," an episode of the Future of Political Consulting podcast by the American Association of Political ConsultantsWPLN President and Founder Larissa Martinez joined host Amanda Iovino  for this episode to examine how gender shapes voter perceptions, campaign strategies, and election outcomes — from whether voters hold women to different standards, to how media portrayals and partisan divides affects attitudes toward women in leadership!
