Upcoming Events
In June, WPLN brought together passionate women (and a few men!) from all over the U.S. to meet in Denver, Colorado, for 3 days to learn, share leadership journeys, and connect. We're thrilled to announce that our next summit (June 5-7, 2025) will take place in Orlando, Florida. Register today to receive exclusive early-bird pricing!
Join our training partner, Nevada Women's Leadership Alliance (NWLA) for their next Leadership Speaker Series: Profiles in Courage, A Nevada Leadership Legacy. This event features the legacy and leadership journeys of Kathy Benedetto, Debra Struhsacker, and Ruth Carraher. Realizing women were particularly persuasive in Congress and state legislatures, they founded WMC in 1993 when mining was under assault. With a 'lead, follow, or get out of the way' attitude, they built a thriving nationwide, trusted, advocacy powerhouse. As professional geologists, experts in mining law, regulatory process, mine permitting, and industry advocacy, they are the epitome of Women Leadership Champions and role models in Nevada and nationwide. NWLA is proud to honor the leadership journeys of these advocacy pioneers.
