WHAT'S NEXT FOR WPLN
State Impact Councils
Across the country, women are stepping up to lead in public service, business and community life. Yet too often, their path to leadership is limited by access to training, networks and opportunities. WPLN State Impact Councils are designed to change that. These state-based councils strengthen local leadership ecosystems by connecting women to training, mentorship, and networks that give them the tools to lead and make a lasting impact.
Partners who join our network of State Impact Councils gain more than visibility—they help shape the future of women’s leadership in their states and across the nation. Apply to join an Impact Council in your state today.
Lead in Style
Lead in Style is WPLN's newest program designed to help women leaders across the country elevate their professional presence, from makeup and clothing tips to media training and public speaking.
In 2025, with help from our partners on the ground, we brought Lead in Style to dedicated community leaders in Kalispell, Montana— and the response was amazing! This fun and informative event is well on its way to being one of our premier programs. If you’re interested in joining a host committee for an event in your state, contact our team.
UPCOMING EVENTS AND OPPORTUNITIES
Hosted by WPLN Founder & President Larissa Martinez, Tips From The Trail explores the path to political office, from the decision to run, to election day. This program features women leaders who are working in or around politics or have run for office, revealing their best tips and tricks for success. New episodes monthly!
Join Laura Maristany, CEO & Founder of Katch Skills, and Larissa Martinez, Founder & President of WPLN, for a powerful session on how to turn your experiences into visible proof of your strengths—so you can lead with confidence and take your next step with clarity. Through WPLN’s new partnership with Katch Skills, women across the network now get free access to a platform that captures every learning moment—workshops, events, conversations, even daily leadership wins—and turns them into skills receipts you can use to advance your career or prepare for public leadership.
Join WPLN's virtual three-part training series for women who are newly elected or considering their first run for local office. Registration opens January 1, 2026.
For the first time, Women's Public Leadership Network (WPLN)—a national nonprofit dedicated to women's leadership—is coming to South Texas!
