Her Hat Was in the Ring: How Women Won the Right to Run For Office in the United States, by Wendy Chmielewski and Jill Norgren, tells the story of more than 6,000 women who ran for office between 1850 and 1920.
WATCHING | We're celebrating female entrepreneurs by watching Cookie Queens, a documentary that follows four Girl Scouts on their mission to sell cookies. We may also be indulging in a few cookies, ourselves!
LISTENING TO | When Taylor Swift announces new music, we clear our schedule. We've had The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore on repeat since it was released. WPLN Social Media Manager Sarah Quinlan says her favorite from the four new songs is "Pink Clouding," followed by "Patient Zero"!
