**READING |* Braving the Wilderness: The Quest for True Belonging and the Courage to Stand Alone*, by Brené Brown: **At our 2024 #WPLNSummit June 20-22, panelist and Montana State Representative Courtenay Sprunger praised [this book](https://www.amazon.com/Braving-Wilderness-Quest-Belonging-Courage/dp/0812995848) as one of her favorites, quoting the line: "People are hard to hate up close. Move in."

**WATCHING | Land of Women on Apple TV+: **This [comedy drama thriller television series](https://tv.apple.com/us/show/land-of-women/umc.cmc.3jchmur9er2whr7zsubfcasrv?ctx_brand=tvs.sbd.4000) stars Eva Longoria as a woman who flees to Spain with her mother and daughter after her husband vanishes amidst the collapse of his financial practices.

**LISTENING TO | *The Goal Digger* podcast by Jenna Kutcher, episode "Who Am I Outside of Work and Motherhood, Really?":** When we saw [the episode title](https://podcasts.apple.com/au/podcast/who-am-i-outside-of-work-and-motherhood-really/id1178704872?i=1000656371111), we were immediately sold!

**EXCITED FOR | Independence Day! **The WPLN office will be closed July 1 through July 5, and we're looking forward to taking time to relax and celebrate the American experiment.
