**READING | A Certain Idea of America: Selected Writings, by Peggy Noonan: **Peggy Noonan was a special assistant and speechwriter to President Ronald Reagan, and [this new collection of selected writings](https://www.amazon.com/Certain-Idea-America-Selected-Writings/dp/0593854772/ref=zg_bsnr_g_3377866011_d_sccl_5/143-4207705-0542226?psc=1) showcases her writing talent and her faith in America.

**WATCHING | *Wicked*, starring Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande: **We could have just as easily put *Wicked* as our choice for "listening to" (WPLN Social Media Manager Sarah Quinlan has had the soundtrack on repeat for days now) but listed it here instead because Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande truly *are* Elphaba and G(a)linda, respectively — with an utterly charming Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero!
