**READING |** **You With the Sad Eyes: A Memoir by Christina Applegate: **We've long been fans of Christina Applegate's acting career and humor, so [her memoir on her life](https://www.amazon.com/You-Sad-Eyes-Christina-Applegate-ebook/dp/B0FH4JCKXN/), including her career in Hollywood and her multiple sclerosis (MS) diagnosis, felt like a must-read.

WATCHING | Ryan Gosling seems like he's been on a winning streak the last few years, and [his latest movie](https://tv.apple.com/us/movie/project-hail-mary/umc.cmc.7jxdlxvz304lj3iwhtrhbe8fv), Project Hail Mary, is being hailed as one of the best this year. We heard the book is just as good, too — so that's next on our TBR list!

**LISTENING TO | Cracking On podcast, hosted by Sam Frost and Sarah Roberts. **<https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/cracking-on-with-sam-frost-and-sarah-roberts/id1888343624>[A podcast](https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/cracking-on-with-sam-frost-and-sarah-roberts/id1888343624) about all the ways people pick themselves back up and navigate change sounded right up our alley.

EXCITED FOR | National Teacher Appreciation Week is May 4 to 8 this year, and we're always thankful for an opportunity to [celebrate teachers](https://www.nea.org/TAW), a female-dominated field that often doesn't receive the credit or appreciation it deserves.
