“When individuals with diverse backgrounds are in office, new perspectives are injected into policy discussions helping produce better policy outcomes for all Americans. A diversity of ideas leads to better decisions — and more problems solved — overall.

Female candidates are now experiencing more support for their candidacies as well as increased interest in having their voices at decision-making tables. Yet gaps in available resources remain. Our hope is that our work can help mitigate the barriers women face, so that more little girls can look in the mirror and see the leaders of tomorrow.”
